Claiming Our Power; Sharing Our Stories

June 17 & 24, July 8, 15, & 22 - from 5:00 to 6:30 PM                                                   

Over six weeks, participants will create artistic collages and learn to write poems and essays about their personal experiences with disability. This empowering class has grown out of Leslie's exploration of her own disability from cancer and other chronic illness, and her use of art and writing as therapeutic tools. NOTE: Class participants will be afforded an opportunity to publicly read and show their work at a Reading and Reception in celebration of National Disability Awareness Month in October 2015.
